Version 1
            Hey there guys and gals.
This here is one of my favourite Matchbox Twenty songs.
I just thought I'd touch up a couple of things for this tab.
This is how I play it, and I think it sounds pretty schweet. Plus, it's nice
and easy for those of you out who are just beginning your guitar journeys.
For any feedback, drop me a comment or a message.
Otherwise, enjoy playing a great song.

[Intro]
G Cadd9 (play 2 times)
[Verse 1]
G Cadd9
She grabs her magazines, she packs her things and she goes
Em7 D
She leaves the pictures hangin' on the wall
G Cadd9
She burns all her notes
            G D Cadd9
And she knows, she's been here too few years, to feel this old
[Verse 2]
G Cadd9
He smokes his cigarette, he stays outside 'til it's gone
Em7 D
If anybody ever had a heart, well
G Cadd9
  He wouldn't be alone
         G D Cadd9
He knows, she's been here too few years, to be gone
[Chorus 1]
D G D Cadd9 G D Cadd9
And we always say, it would be good to go away, someday
               Em D
But if there's nothin' there to make things change
            Cadd9 Cadd9
If it's the same for you I'll just hang
[Fill]
G Cadd9
[Verse 3]
G Cadd9
The trouble understand, is she's got reasons he don't
Em7 D
Funny how I couldn't see it all
G Cadd9
'til she grabbed up her coat
        G D G Cadd9
And she goes. She's been here too few years, to take it all in stride
G D Cadd9
Yeah, but still it's much too long, to let hurt go (you let her go)
[Chorus 2]
D G D Cadd9 G D Cadd9
And we always say, it would be good to go away, someday,
                    Em D
Yeah but if there's nothin' there to make things change,
            Cadd9 D
if it's the same for you I'll just hang, same to you I'll always hang
       G D Cadd9 G D Cadd9
Well I always say, it would be good to go away,
       Em D
But if things don't work out like we think and
        Em D
There's nothing there to ease this achin', but if
        Em D
There's nothing there to make things change,
            Cadd9 Cadd9
If it's the same for you I'll just hang
